How To Follow Up In 2023 – Day 1 Speed To Process

Over the next few days I want to share with you how to follow up in order to close more deals in 2023. This is going to be a 4 part blog where I am going to unpack something I call the Perfect Follow Up Structure.

Part 1: Speed To Process

There is no secret that your speed to lead will absolutely make or break the contact.

This is why it is so important to think about the client journey.

When is the best time to contact someone? When they are thinking about the thing they requested info on.

In fact, we know for a fact that you can increase your conversion rate by 100x if you follow up within 5 minutes or faster.

But how do you do this? What if you are busy?

Well here are a few ideas:

1. Ensure that you always have an automated text and email sequence setup
2. Give them an option to book right into your calendar with a tool like calendly
3. Hire an inside sales agent or virtual assisant to respond for you

Imagine if you added anyone of these ideas above into your business.

What would change?

How many deals would you potentially add this year?

I would encourage you to map out what your speed to lead process looks like… 

Write out what we call a standard operating procedure.

This will help you better understand where the holes are in your speed to process/lead systems… Because without an SOP you have no idea to know exactly where the holes are… 

And I guarantee you there are holes as I have advised hundreds of top performing teams that still have speed to process opportunities. 

For example this could be:

– Adding them to a group whatsapp channel with your team or lender and ensuring that they are getting taken care of

– This could be sending them a welcome kit with information that they need in order to make an informed and intelligent decision

– This could be buying them lunch or coffee and sitting down to talk to them about the top 3 things they need to consider when buying real estate

Be the knowledge broker and advisor when everyone is chasing a fast pay check and unwilling to put in the work, and watch your business transform over the next 12 months…

Because what do lazy agents do? They say, here is my lenders number call me when you are approved.

Don’t do that. Top performing teams don’t do that.

They are advisors first and foremost.

Find them a solution.
