The Day Facebook & Instagram Went Down

In case you didn’t hear the news yet… Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp all went down last week…

See for yourself: https://globalnews.ca/news/8241546/facebook-instagram-whatsapp-down-3/

If you haven’t heard me talk about this over the last couple years I thought I would hop in and remind you to build your email and text subscriber list.

Today is one of those days where you see the importance of building this and getting leads off the platform and into a CRM.

This is what we teach our clients.

Build your list.

Why?

Well because today our clients can still book appointments while those that are relying solely on Facebook likes or Instagram followers are left without a way to market their business.

Rusell Brunson (CEO of Clickfunnels) says it best, “There is traffic you own, traffic you control and traffic you can’t control”.

Today unfortunately those accounts aren’t live and the attention has shifted.

Those that haven’t diversified their audience to an email list or another social platform are left without a way to advertise their business.

This is why it’s so important to own your list.

This could happen to anyone. Accounts get shut down.

This is why we have moved our clients to also advertise on Google & Youtube, but ultimately we need to build the list.

Don’t rely solely on likes or followers. If the accounts go down, they mean nothing.

P.S. if you are unsure of where to start with building a text and email list, let’s chat. We can ensure you are booking appointments even when the social platforms go down. Book a call here: https://studioptbo.com/book-now/
