I was chatting with a few people today about limiting beliefs.
I had someone in our circle feeling like giving up today.
They were just having a hard time grasping some concepts and believing that it was possible for them to figure it out.
Sometimes it is hard to believe in your ability to figure things out.
I get it. I’ve been there.
If you are feeling held back by limiting beliefs about yourself or your business I want you to know that…
You are not alone.
You are not broken.
We all face imposter syndrome.
This i why I tackled this in our book, “What If You Could? The Mindset & Business Blueprint for Your Life of Purpose”
My hope is that this excerpt from my book inspires you to start the process in changing the way you think about yourself.
Believe In Affirmations
Will yourself to believe that what you want will come true. Get a tattoo that says so, put it on a sticky or your whiteboard, record yourself saying it, say it to others. Repeat and lather in it.
Repeated affirmations sustain a focused mindset, one that propels you to carry on until the things you believe are actualized. When you truly believe, your affirmations will become reality.
Said another way, we become what we focus on and practice. Think about it: any positive, life-altering experience in your life most likely started with positive self-talk, even if it was subconscious.
Brendon Burchard teaches many of the world’s highest performers to use affirmations or I AM statements to gain clarity and live extraordinary lives.
So, what do you want out of life?
Most entrepreneurs start their business for one of three reasons: more money, more meaning, or more freedom. For Cody, it was a mixture of all three. Entrepreneurship showed him that opportunities are endless and there are no ceilings, except the ones you limit yourself to.
If you want more money, we encourage you to visualize yourself with that money. See your company crossing the $1 million revenue mark, then $3 million, then $5 million. Envision at each revenue mark who you need to be, what you are wearing, the car you are driving, the books you have read, and with whom you are spending your time. Lean into the feeling of who that person is and step into their shoes daily.
So many try to chase the outcome, but when you stop and examine those who have led extraordinary lives, you realize they chased the person they needed to become to achieve the outcome they desired.
You can do it.
We become what we focus on and practice.
