Welcome to the final day of me unpacking what we call The Perfect Follow Up Structure…

Part 4: Intention
Do yourself a favour and remove this from your vocab, “Hey Tom, I am just following up with you as I have a note in my CRM”…
First off… no prospect in real estate knows what a CRM is…
Second, this is a perfect way to say I am just following up so that you can give me money…
Simply put, that is not how you follow up …
That said, if you are doing it… It’s not your fault… That is how many gurus teach how to follow up, but it doesn’t work… You’ve been led astray.
Try this instead.
1. If you have an IDX record a loom video specifically showing them a property they viewed and explain that it might fit their criteria and give them an opportunity via loom video to tell them let’s go see it.
2. Use loom to record a market update video where you unpack what is happening in the market and ensure that the prospect feels like it was personally addressed to them. You can download loom here: https://www.loom.com/
3. Use a voice note inside of a Whatsapp or Fb group chat… Some of the top teams we advise add their prospects to a group chat and they feed info to them there. This will allow the prospect to feel they are apart of your entire team… And you can share voice note updates with them as it’s another way to communicate.
The moral of the story here… Be intentional with your follow up… Try new things and find new entry points…
