I have always been a person who values experiences. I collect hobbies and I seek out opportunities to grow, push myself and to appreciate what life has to offer. My interest in experiences has brought me all across the world travelling to 50 countries, and counting. I love growth which has meant at times putting myself into situations that I know will lead to my own development, even if it comes at the cost of being at times quite uncomfortable. For the last 5 years I have worked on ships ranging from 20 metre sailing boats up to 100 metre private superyachts. An incredible experience, but working exceptionally long periods of time, often distantly at sea, and coming back to that discomfort that I often seek out, working while exceptionally seasick. Through these experiences I couldn’t be more proud of the person I am today.
After completing my Master’s degree in cultural analysis and social theory I went on a camping backpacking trip through 23 countries. Most recently I have explored scuba diving with some of my most memorable dives being through the cave and cavern systems in Mexico. In my spare time I seek out opportunities to test my mindset and acquire new skills. Mindset has also been a fascination of mine which has brought me to the study and practice of meditation.
The other experience that I find exceptionally enriching is that which comes from meeting people and sharing moments and memories together. I have had the privilege of meeting people from all over the world, hearing their stories and allowing them to help shape my life and perspective. I feel a deep sense of gratitude for being able to be a part of someone else’s story and to be a part of their growth.
How do I weave my collection of experiences and skills together to support our team as a client success manager? Well I am a very analytical thinker, a problem solver and my time on working on yachts has given me a real insight into creating an incredible guest and client experience. I enjoy communicating with a wide variety of people and making meaningful connections. I am committed to seeing growth, client, company and my own. I am proud to be on a team that propels people forward, and here at SheridanSt I have the privilege of collaborating with people who are passionate about working with and coaching people to achieve their goals.
