Have you ever successfully eaten a large poutine in one sitting? Emma did, and it was a big deal. Combine that with David Gilmour over the speakers and it would have been a recipe for divine creativity.
Emma always knew she wanted to be an artist, but what she didn’t want was the “starving artist” lifestyle that is all-too-often a part of the package. Graduating from Durham College with an advanced diploma in Graphic Design, Emma continued to craft her skills while freelancing before finding Studio-N here in Peterborough. The people she met throughout the community, the community itself, and the food (all the food) solidified Peterborough as the place she wanted to be. Emma brings an incredible sense for design and a fresh perspective, which is a great asset to the StudioPTBO team.
Having the ability to be able to think and solve problems creatively on a daily basis is why Emma loves what she does. The constant stream of butter tarts and other delectable treats coming through the office doesn’t hurt either.
When Emma isn’t doing artist things, she can often be found bushwhacking in the woods with Douglas, her high-strung chocolate lab, in search of ever-elusive geocaches. Or, perhaps, perfecting her double-tuck on the trampoline in her backyard.
